Then later you can join us in the official Oscar discussion thread during the Red Carpet itself and the show! And you still have up until about an hour or so before the show to get your prediction entry in as well as voting in our Oscar polls! Have a great Holy Day!

I was going to watch Amazing Race then switch over 30 minutes into the Oscars and watch from the beginning so that I can go through commercials and long walks from the winners, but it's so hard to concentrate on the Amazing Race when I know that big events are happening live on the other station!!

Alright, I've made my annual trip to the show Pre-Oscars, have my soda and cigarettes, want ads for job listings. I'm all set and not going anywhere and unless someone's died, don't call me. Am watching AMC right now, they have Oscar nominated (and sometimes winning for various categories) movies going all day. Mystic River is on now, Philadelphia is up next.

I was going to watch Race too, but I don't have DVR or Tivo or any of that nonsense. I can catch it online tomorrow.

Just under an hour to go to the red carpet folks! How's this for a rumor, Charlize Theron and Jeremy Renner are rumored to be going to the Vanity Fair afterparty together. As you know, she broke it off with Stuart Townsend earlier this year and she and Jeremy say they're just friends, but Hollywood pundits/spies/etc. all say they're just being coy b/c she doesn't want to hurt her ex. Interesting, no?

A lot of "young Hollywood" is set to be at the Oscars tonight which would be good for younger viewers but meh for me. I really don't need and want to see the Twilight cast trying to mingle with people like Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman and Jeff Bridges.
