and to think that cbs maynot have done this if not for the Glass House!!!!

Want the rumors to fly? I have a theory.

An expanded season is a perfect excuse to go a la Survivor, bring in "favorites" and "fans" and put them against one another. Let's pretend they do 14-16 again. They can easily up it to 18 or 20 total with these extra two weeks if they do 9 or 10 fans vs favorites. Just sayin'.

See, this is why I hate pre-BB season. LOL

It either means:
A. More houseguests
B. A couple weeks with no eviction
C. Another reset
D. A houseguest will return after eviction

Woah, June beginning? Does that mean we'll have like a mid-June beginning to everything?

I can't imagine the Fall season beginning that early this coming year.

I'm thinking the show will be longer... I think Wingz may be on to something with that fans v. faves thing.

I'm so excited! I'm hoping for all new cast, or if there will be returning HGS "Best of The Worst".

Shiny Beige
01-15-2013, 04:25 PM
But ... but ... but ... if they have "best of the worst," will Jessie have to be there? :bawl:

Sheldon
01-15-2013, 04:30 PM
Jessie is KING of the Worst, so of course he'll be there. Also, AG loves him. That's all that really matters.

SassyGal
01-15-2013, 04:57 PM
Going Disney here: someone go make Jessie a sandwich with a sleeping potion.....or give him the poisoned apple so the dwarfs take him away!!

CappieSux
01-15-2013, 04:57 PM
God I hope it's all new people but since Survivor is doing another "FAVS RETURN", my feeling is CBS is the one demanding to always have favorites return. I can't even blame Trollzilla for this.

19wingz
01-16-2013, 12:33 PM
Trollzilla? LOL Love that name.

Ya, this is definitely CBS's doing. They have some idea they would like to infuse into BB and that's why the announcement is this early.

Mikey
01-16-2013, 03:09 PM
They're also attempting to beef up their summer schedule though. I can see them thinking that if they use their biggest summer staple, they can bring some of those viewers over to their new shows. Which is why they could be starting early. I doubt it has anything to do with the twists or BB production at all. To me, it just comes off as a ratings booster to help their new shows hang onto life a little longer than normal.

19wingz
01-16-2013, 06:30 PM
Well see, but it doesn't seem to be so. I mean the new baking show is leading into BB. And then Unforgettable doesn't come back until the end of July. I mean that might be some of it, but let's face it - BB isn't THAT popular outside of our world. At least that's my opinion.

Shiny Beige
01-16-2013, 06:55 PM
Bite your fingers, Doc!
BB is that important!
Even when it's lousy.

Mikey
01-17-2013, 10:53 AM
I find that for every overly obsessed forum dwelling superfan, there is an equal amount of "closeted" viewers! Lol. I could DEFINITELY see them using it to build a broader base for Unforgettable. Possibly something that could help them transition it into the main viewing season, perhaps?

19wingz
01-17-2013, 12:57 PM
I'm sure that is part of it. I am just not convinced it's all of it. CBS has a tent in their pants for bringing back returning people - as we've seen many times already on their reality shows. I just have this feeling something is up. And no, I haven't heard anything yet from alums but I am digging!

Mikey
01-17-2013, 01:53 PM
I'm not completely against bringing people back. I just don't want it to be recent people! I like when they do some digging and bring back someone you wouldn't think might come back. Throw someone from season 2 or 3 in there, and use some of the shows history. AG does have a total tent (I really like that you used this expression! Haha.) for returning players. And, it does seem that CBS does also. I just wonder how much influence they have over that kind of stuff? That's sort of why I'm thinking along the lines of scheduling. Does the show really have that much power when it comes to the schedule? It definitely had to be something that the show and the network came to a mutual decision on. Something that would mutually benefit them, ya know?

I'm definitely thinking something is up in terms of an All-Stars type season, or possibly some sort of interactive casting twist. It could take 2 weeks for the real game to begin possibly. Maybe something similar to Biggest Loser, where they cast finds out they made it when they get there. Could we possibly get to observe some of these people and vote on the cast? I think that would be pretty wicked myself!

19wingz
01-17-2013, 03:10 PM
I do hope that feeds start early too.

And to answer your question - typically, networks have more say in show casting/twists than the show has about scheduling. They dabble into scripted shows and make decisions about that kind of stuff, just as much as their reality shows. Now, of course the shows have near full rights to cast whomever they want. I think the network can tell BB (this early especially), cast what you want, make whatever twist you want BUT involve past players and know that you're starting 2 weeks earlier for such and such reason - whatever it is.

OR I am hoping they are more original and cast even more regular people so that we have more than normal playing the game to make up for the fact that Jessie has been on the past 5 seasons of the damn show.

You wish, but you know it to be true and also dread that if it is all stars from seasons 8 - 14, Jessie is definitely back, so is Brenchel and Chilltown 2 (Boogie and Frank) and either Evel Dick or Daniele....:p

AG isn't going to change, just saying...

Ok seriously, either ALL NEW PEOPLE (which is what I prefer), or if there HAS to be any brought back, bring back some people that got evicted early and didn't get the chance to play much, like Bryan, Angie, Laura... people like that. Bring back Janelle's nasty little partner from S6... she outta be a good train wreck to watch.

They need to bring the real stars back

BB8 - Jen
BB9 - Natalie, Shelia, Ryan, Jen
BB10 - Peepaw and Jessie
BB11 - Russell, Natalie, Kevin and Laura
BB13 - Shelly and Kalia
BB14 - Ian Terry and Jojo

Yeah me either LOL

I wouldn't mind some of those to be "evil" added to some good guys. I like when the house splits and we have people to hate.

Russell, Jen, Maggie, Laura, Bryan, Angie, Steven... Those would be good. Maybe even Joe or Dustin LOL I want half root for, half train wreck.

Saint Dagame

In all honesty only 3 people need to come back

BB9 Sharon screwed at final 4

BB13 Shelly screwed by Pandora and given no credit for Lawon boot

BB14 JoJo screwed over by Grodner, Frank and Willie

I would like these people to return with the twist - The Dumb, the Devious and the Detested...yes folks Big Brother 3D with the following 20-member cast,

Dumb (People who got played like a fool)
1. Zach (BB8)
2. Sheila (BB9)
3. Jordan (BB11)
4. Ronnie (BB11)
5. Casey (BB11)
6. Britney (BB12)
7. Cassi (BB13)

Devious (People who were schemers)
1. Eric (BB8)
2. Ryan (BB9)
3. Memphis (BB10)
4. Russell (BB11)
5. Enzo (BB12)
6. Matt (BB12)
7. Ian (BB14)

Detested (People hated during their season)
1. Jen (BB8)
2. Chelsia (BB9)
3. Jessie (BB10)
4. Natalie (BB11)
5. Chima (BB11)
6. Rachel (BB13)

I have tried not to include most of the people (Jeff, Daniele, Dick, Dan, Janelle, Boogie etc) that have been returning in last three seasons and only included two past winners (Jordan and Rachel)

Waitlists
1. Shane (BB14)
2. Frank (BB14)
3. Kalia (BB13)
4. Ragan (BB12)
5. Lane (BB12)

TheKdd
02-20-2013, 11:16 AM
Chima? LMAO No. Chima did that to herself. She should be in the dumb category. I don't detest her, she was fun to watch get the boot.

If I had to pick from only your list, I would pick...
Sheila (BB9)
Ronnie (BB11)
Casey (BB11)
Cassi (BB13)

Eric (BB8)
Memphis (BB10)
Russell (BB11)
Matt (BB12)

Jen (BB8)
Chelsia (BB9)
Natalie (BB11)

Frank (BB14)
Ragan (BB12)
Lane (BB12)

Then we could add Jodi, Bryan, Angie, Laura and seriously, let's get Maggie in there, or even better yet the "Light Out Bitches Captain" Eric from BB6 LOL

19wingz
02-20-2013, 01:09 PM
LOL Chima was dumb. Interesting concept, Darth.

And no Celebrities!!! First of all, I'm not sure we'd get real celebs. And I don't want Snooki and Spencer Pratt in there.

Chima wasn't dumb, she just reacted accordingly to being screwed by a producer given power.

19wingz
02-20-2013, 02:57 PM
No, no. That's how a child reacts. Not an adult.

Saint Dagame
02-20-2013, 03:07 PM
Really? I guess you would just shrug your shoulders if you had spend a month putting yourself in a great position and then because the producer wants to save her golden boy, you're on the way out

It's justified because Shelly should've pulled the same shit.

19wingz
02-20-2013, 03:45 PM
No way Shelly would have done that. She's smarter, more mature, and realizes it is a game. Going on a rampage and destroying property is never the way to go. I honestly was OK with her reaction until she threw shit. I'm not saying to shrug her shoulders and take it - yell, scream, call people names - i don't care. Throw shit in a pool like 12 year old is not the way to go.

Saint Dagame
02-21-2013, 11:13 AM
I didn't say Shelly would've but should've after that bullshit Pandora to save Jordan and Rachel cost her the game.

Chima was getting sick of hearing production and everybody else bitch about the mic on top of everything else so she eliminated the problem with no tantrum. As time passes I've noticed how the actual incident gets bigger and bigger.

19wingz
02-21-2013, 11:35 AM
She eliminated the problem (the mic) with no tantrum? I'm not processing the logic there, to be honest.

Saint Dagame
02-21-2013, 12:33 PM
She didn't throw a tantrum just threw the mic in the pool just as calmly as she could.

Devin
02-21-2013, 01:06 PM
I cannot deal with another season of Frank.

TheKdd
02-21-2013, 02:05 PM
Yes, calmly threw her mic in the pool, which was against the rules and she got herself tossed. Natalie would have probably been the one to go that week, saving Chima. Natalie ended up getting $50k, Chima, $0.

STUPID

Saint Dagame
02-21-2013, 11:50 PM
There's no way Natalie would've went before Chima. Chima was rightfully seen as more of a physical/mental threat than Natalie ever was.
