Don't know much about this stuff, but why would they put the two teams in florida with "C" instead of "D" since they are separated on the map??

FL is in a tough division.

Doesn't really matter where everybody plays, the Penguins will win the Stanley Cup for next five years anyway.

FL is in a SUPER TOUGH division now. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out over the coming seasons.

A part of me appreciate this so the Wings don't have the incredibly insane travelling, but we are losing a lot of Western rivalries this way. Hopefully we can rekindle quite a few since half of the O6 are in the "C" Division.

I think we can now all agree, with the recent Penguins trades, that this season is officially in the books.
