Default Wikileaks Inspires Maxi-Pad Ad

It's in Karachi and I have to admit, pretty damn clever!

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/...entry_id=79402

Quote:
According to The Express Tribune:
The agency behind the campaign, RG Blue Communications, says that it has "received a very good response" to the billboards. Amjad Hussain, the head of business development, laughingly told The Express Tribune, "Nobody has said it's in bad taste yet!"
According to Hussain, Butterfly was a new client that had recently come on board. They loved the idea when it was pitched to them and so the campaign rolled out very quickly.
Munir Bhatti, the agency's art director, says he has been inundated with phone calls about the ad. "I could have also shown a girl like other ads have. But the idea was to make it very different and to use the word WikiLeaks -- and that's what this is."
Women rejoice: There's finally some humor behind the maxipad.

That's hella better than whoever came up with the ad slogan "Have a happy period" from Always. I just want to punch that dude (and you KNOW it was a dude) in the nether region.

Oh sweet jesus, if it was a dude that said it then I think he should have to walk around with a cold piece of pizza in his underwear while his balls are being squeezed for a week, to experience how "happy" a period is.

rotflmao @ this thread.. the only happy period I ever had was getting it when I was 18 and thought I was preggers.. Now that was a happy period.. Otherwise, nah, never been all that happy to be bloated, crampy and bitchy for a week..

Ovulation's never been an issue for me, although I have to ask, do y'all feel quick pains during that time too? It goes away just as quick, but still.

Sherri, good example, the true only time a period is happy is when you don't want to be knocked up!
