Default Earthquakes

6.3 Southern Mexico about 8 hours ago from this post.

6.9 up off the coast of Eureka Ca (in the scary Cascadia zone) about 3 hours ago.

One end up to the other, and I'm a little unnerved at the moment. That is all lol

Yeah. It's been a long time for us.

And Pink... You should stock up too just in case, being that close to Cascadia and all.

Crap! I just finished fixing all my cracks in my plaster in my house! Between the house shifting in the rain on the adobe the last thing I need is an earthquake!! It has been a long while that's for sure.

Yeah it just seems a lot more is going on lately. It used to be kind of a normal thing when I was growing up, there were some decent earthquakes every few years in some California location. Heck there were even those in the 3's that happened here a lot more often. Now it's been what, 20 years since anything really out here. It has just been really quiet. Seems things are picking up and it makes me more nervous because it's been so quiet.

That's exactly what I was thinking. People back East who have been watching us and cursing the cold might be packing up to move here. A couple of little ones might make them think twice!

You and R-less should stop scaring the locals!

I had a dream about an earthquake earlier this week and no less than in California. I suspect that has to do with my own life than the foreboding of a 'big one'. But food for thought.

well did you have it on March 10th because that's when they had the 6.8 in Ferndale CA up by Eureka.
