It is insane, but everybody's in the same boat. If there is money available from the government, will it go to the people or the corporations? (I can guess.)


But we have so many people who are not taking it seriously, going to the beach with friends, etc. I guess we'll have to wait for people to start dropping before they believe it's a problem.


I was trying to be upbeat today, but the stupidity of people makes me sad.

Howdy YY Family!

I have been working hard and today enjoying a quiet at home day!! I love nursing and couldn't imagine doing anything else!

I see so many people failing to follow common sense. I am blown away by the crazy folks still after city shutdown trying to go to the parks, playgrounds and dog parks. I find it difficult to understand what park of stay home is so hard to understand! I try to shop at smaller stores and before delivering separate out for the 3 households to make delivery to the other 2 faster and decrease contact they have with me

I am so happy to see the small businesses showing massive community support by re-working the business model to keep people working and providing a service to the area families. Many of the small eateries have changed to a delivery model of grocery products instead of sending cooked meals which increases the shelf life by allowing you to cook as you need it!

How are you feeling Now Robbie?

So far, my Dr is still making me come in, which I think is ridiculous. I’m immuno-compromised and haven’t been out in a couple months :/ I’ll be wrapping myself up really good to do this. Can’t believe he isn’t doing telemedicine at this point. I can’t get my prescriptions though without “seeing him.” Sigh.

My mortgage... so they are deferring payments for 90 days, but they aren’t putting it onto the back, they want it all paid in 90 days? I asked them if they think our jobs are planning to quadruple our pay in three months... they didn’t care for me much lol But ya know, they’re getting bail outs and can’t just move the payments to the back of the loan? Makes no sense.

Otherwise we’re just bored and watching stuff. I am baking a lot when I can find flour so we’ll all be fat when this is over. Oh who am I kidding, fatTER lol

Last Thursday we were told school was out for the rest of the year. Thankfully the district I work in is going to pay us anyway. However the only ones who wouldn't get paid are the paraprofessionals. They don't get paid when no students are at school. But they are going to get paid now.
Not sure what will happen.
I'm the admin assistant to the SPED director so my work will not cease. I don't need students. And I feel for the teachers who are having to quickly learn how to use Zoom and miss their students. They come up with driving in parades by their students' houses and waving and honking. It's so cool!

I only go out to go to the grocery store (base commissary). And I went this morning at 7 am when people who are 65 and older can go. It was great.
I also learned how to make a face mask from a bandanna and two hair ties. Didn't use it this morning but I think I will as time goes on.

Our state is one of nine that doesn't have a stay at home directive. I think that's foolish because there are total ignorant people out there.

I am so so sorry... someone very close to me is coming around the other side of it... she actually wanted to die at one point. It is very very bad, I so hope and pray you heal FAST!!

I go to the commissary on base and when I went yesterday, we are now required to wear masks. That's just fine by me.

It's so ridiculous to see some people just ignore the guidelines, but I think it's finally becoming clear to them that we'd come out on the other side of this faster if people would do what is asked of them to do.
