Default Eye problems

I know what pink-eye can be, but my eye isn't red... yet, so this brings this question up:

Why, in god's name, does it kill to blink my eye?

I took my contact out to see if that was the issue, and it hasn't alleviated the problem. But now my eye itches, actually both of them. I did notice some sleep in the eye this morning, but I don't know if that was simple normal accrue or not.

Honestly, the pain seems to sit on my cheek right under my eye than the eye itself. Any explanation, oh great one?

Ok, weird situation but I wonder if you have what I got on Sunday. Do you have blurry vision? Is the pain really difficult to handle? How would you rate it on a scale of 1-10? What were you doing when you noticed the pain?

I wonder if you have a corneal abrasion. I got one on Sunday and it hurt like a mofo.

Not blurry vision, but it just won't stop hurting every time I blink. And it's making concentrating an absolute bitch. The pain began sometime yesterday, but honestly its been bothering me since Sunday. Because I distinctly remember saying "I won't be shocked if I suddenly get pink eye the way my eye is behaving" Add in now light sensitivity.

Blah...

Ok, you may have an even more minor corneal abrasion than I did. Do you wear soft or hard contacts?

Pink eye usually doesn't present with much pain, at least not usually. Is your eye that red ... and does Visine drops help or burn?

Haven't tried Visine. And I wear soft contacts, but I haven't taken them out in a month...

LOL, well that might also be part of the reason. I'd give the eyes a rest for a couple days, to be honest.

Oh they're out, haha. I took them out way earlier today, and usually they're irritated for a few minutes but they clear up relatively quickly.

If there's sleep (rherum whatever the medical bs term is) in them tomorrow, or if the pain worsens or is the same I'm going to the damn Urgicare.

Thanks Wingz

Could be contacts irritating your eyes (scratched your corneal)...But with itching and driving you crazy itching??? Mine is usually allergies that causes it...No pain with it though....You should see a doctor if not better today....The best drops for itching is Baush & Lomb Opcon-A...It's for eye allergies...Hope it's better today........

you could have a chalazio too which my daughter gets all the time with her contacts. it's like a bump under her eyelid. I'd say you need to give your eyes a super rest from the contacts! I have worn softlenses for 35 years since they were invented and they are disposable however I still take mine out every night. Can't stand dry eye.

Oh, I'm sure I'll leave my contacts out for at least two weeks. LOL

When I had pink eye back in May, my eyes rejected the contacts for a solid three weeks. Then again, I was also lazy and refused to put them in or try to as well. I am going to the doctor, because it's pissing me off to the point that it's not just an irritant.

I know it's not pink eye, thank god, because neither eye had rherum in it this morning. So I'm assuming I probably itched my eye with a nasty finger nail and shredded my eye.

The life of a 20 something year old drama queen, I tell ya...
