Yakblue Do You Celebrate/Participate in Halloween?

After weeks of "not so quiet" deliberation, my boys have decided to forego Power Rangers and delved into Lego Ninjago.

I now have a red ninja and a green ninja dueling to the death in my living room on a daily basis; although it is much to the consternation of the parental units at large, they do seem to enjoy themselves to the utmost.

My lovely lady of the house has become the red ninja's dragon while I remain aloof and boring, as I am wont to do. The family will troll the neighborhood, lighting up the faces of all when our youngest says, "Treats!" whilst waving his ninja sword with style and flair (or some such approximation).
Meanwhile, I shall dress up as a grumpy father with little time to himself, and I'll attempt to scare away the zombie horde that visits our front step.

Regardless of how you spend this pending cacophony of ghost, goblins and superheroes; the quiet hour just before bed will be most welcome to us all as we realize Friday morning is still another work day.

Enjoy the festivities!

I am plus/minus participation. Won't be this year - going to a concert. Well, might dress up for that but not sure. Plus, weather will be CRAPPY here this year!

Sometimes I dress up at work.

Halloween is always exciting. We typically have 20-30 small groups stop by the house. It may be less, as we have a high probability of snowfall predicted this year.

Snow for Halloween! Is that the trick or the treat?

We had the cutest little boy this year in a transformers costume who HAD to show us on my porch how he could turn into a truck. Too cute!

Halloween was an awesome event this year. I was bone tired from lack of sleep, but the boys walked about with my wife and I stayed home to hand out candy.
By and large, I was treated to courteous youths happily running their parents in exhaustive circles. Hot cocoa for the littles and a bad horror flick with my wife after dinner.
