Now, as many of you may now, I have been using my old phone, a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music since late 2008, almost 5 yrs.

Since last night, it has finally started to give me problems. So, I will be buying a new phone over this weekend.

The phones I'm considering are,

IPhone 5, IPhone 4S, IPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy S3.

I have read a lot of literature on each of these phones and their specifications. However, I still can't make up my mind on which one to buy.

My consideration is purely based on ease of use and longevity, since I don't like changing my phone every 1-2 yrs as soon as a new model is out.

So if you are using one of these phones, can you please tell me how you are finding your own phone ? This will greatly help me narrow down my options. Thanks.

I've used both an iPhone 4 (for two years) and now a 4S (for the past 1 year), and I like it. I'm partial to Apple products anyway (iPad, MacBook, etc), but there are a few limitations regarding what it can and can't do, namely anything Flash based.

I think your phone decision is based on what you use it for and how much you need it to handle at one time. While the iPhones are great, there's no side-by-side multitasking (you can switch through multiple apps that are kept open, though), and you're mostly locked in to using iTunes for your music library, unless you're willing to jump through hoops to pick something different.

What do you mostly use your phone for?

iPhone 5 is great but one of the great things about it is how well it goes with other Apple products. If you don't have all Apple products then you can't go wrong with either of the newer iPhones of Galaxys.

I do have an old 160gb IPod, which I update with music from my computer via ITunes.

No other Apple products though.

I personally love Apple products, so I've had an iPhone 4 and iPhone 5. Love them and will never go back.

I have had the 4s and now have the i5. Both are great phones. The only difference is you can't get 4g unless you have the 5. I have never had a problem with apple products.
