Sherri make them do the studies for the gallbladder including the metabloism one they use dye with!!

trend has been over last few years that people are having N/V with pain but do not actually have gallstones it is a precursor but the removal of the gallbladder stops it!!! I do not know of any studies that show why just the trending that I have heard about from the nursing/medical community.

I never had gallstones when my gallbladder was removed. I just started having problems when I'd eat certain foods like pork, chocolate, cheese, and some kinds of fruit. When I got sick and was throwing up, my doctor was out of town so I went to another doctor, then the ER, then yet another doctor. None of them could figure out what was wrong. When my doctor came back, he pushed on my upper stomach and there was A LOT of pain, so he ordered some tests and a few days later my gallbladder was removed.

Sherri, do you have problems after eating certain foods?

Lately, all I've been able to stomach is Chicken Noodle Soup, not really high in fat, but loaded in sodium because it's Campbell's. Been drinking tons of Ginger Ale to combat the queasiness. And cereal, been eating a lot of Special K with berries. I don't eat a lot of fat, usually chicken breasts and lean pork. Coffee seems to irritate it. Nothing else that I can really put my finger on, but I'll pay closer attention. I did push on my upper stomach today and it hurt and it kinda burns inside. Shrugs, hell if I know. If it isn't one thing, it's another.

Coffee would definitely make sense if it's a stomach/acidity thing. I am thinking a possible ulcer, but then again, you'd be experiencing a lot of pain. It's really odd you don't have any pain. Are going to schedule an appointment or are you unable to?
