Default Magnitude 6 earthquake here
So Sunday morning at 3:30 AM we had a big earthquake. 6.1

Umm seriously I slept thru it! I think I'm the only one in town. It was centered in Napa which is about 35 miles away from here. My daughter calls cuz she was jolted out of her bed in San Francisco and my son's girlfriend was terrified when it woke her up in Guerneville which is an additional 20 miles to the west. My son and husband were 100 miles north of here which is even farther from Napa and it woke my son up. Apparently I was really tired lol. Lots of damage in Napa, declared a state of emergency. Really glad I slept thru it cuz earthquakes and fires are the two things I'm most afraid of.

I don't love the Napa area because it's too not for me but on the coast of Northern California I'd live in a heartbeat if it wasn't for those damn earthquakes. The area around Point Reyes is spectacular.

yeah that's a beautiful area YD but I like being a little further inland. we actually get a summer . we get fog but not like that. I couldn't handle that much fog all year. Actually Sonoma / Napa county are so beautiful. I live in Sonoma county. I've been appreciating where I live since I've retired and actually look around me and stop to smell the roses or the grapevines lol. Also marin county and I love being so close to SF and the many bays around here.

When I heard I wondered how you made out. I knew you were a little south of there.

Been thinking a lot about those damn things lately. Hoping I'm just thinking about them cause... well I don't know why. I don't want one here.

Course it would be interesting to see how the HG react... Maybe that would finally get rid of Christine lolol

That's the great thing about that area. I personally like it cool and foggy so I love the coast. But if you love the heat you go inland and it's just as beautiful but in a different way.
