I can't believe that. No charges? Seriously? They're going to go with that? Man oh man.

I am appalled this guy is not being charged...Why aren't the boys parents demanding this gun carrying SOB be arrested? I would be at the police station every day until he was arrested. What right did he have to chase this guy first of all, second he had plenty of time to think about his actions, and third to me that is premeditation and that should carry a first degree murder charge! I bet this won't be the last person this demented person shots....He will be in the news again if he gets away with it..You watch!

TK I read your post about the law in CA. same here....after I posted mine above....

The sad thing is that the family of the victim can scream as loud as they want, but I doubt the prosecutor's office will ever cave in to them. I think their best bet would be to hire a good civil attorney (and there are plenty out there who will take the case now that it's become national news) and sue him, so they can get all of the story, including all of his statements, on record. Then have their attorney sit down with the prosecutor with the transcripts in hand to find how how his actions didn't rise to the level of a criminal act. Not only will they feel the pressure from an attorney, but with the transcripts released, they'd feel national pressure, too.

This happened in FL right? He would probably hire Baez to get him off....

The FBI is already monitoring the case. It makes me sick - that kid was visiting his dad who lived in the gated community, he had every right to be there. That Zimmerman guy needs to be arrested. Given the attention this case is getting, I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen. I can't imagine how law enforcement thinks this guy did nothing wrong - he even outweighed the kid by a good 100 pounds. It's a clear hate crime, to me anyway.
