Yakbb Final three interviewed today

I heard Andy, GM, and Spencer interviewed on EW radio today on Sirius. It was interesting because it was real media and they didn't get any softballs. They were confronted with what they said in the house and they apologized profusely and said they were sorry if they offended anybody. Andy actually said that Spencer did it to be funny so it wasn't as bad as what Aryan said. GM was very upset about losing her job and said she loved working with kids. She said she was sorry that she won't get to see them again. They actually read the statement from the pageant people to her and it's the first she heard about it. She said she understood why they want to be distanced from here but that she was sad that they dropped her so easily after all she did with them. Spencer said his union is trying to get his job back and he hopes they will because he loves it.

Ugh, Andy seriously was making excuses for them still?

I'm glad GM kind of sees how serious this is and hopefully she checks herself here. I know it's going to be harsh on many of them and I hope BB fans just let off and let them percolate on this. I think Spencer is a hopeless cause at this point, to be honest.

I didn't realize that Spencer had totally lost his job. I just thought the union protected him for some reason. He's going to get a bigger shock with the kiddie porn shit that he said.

And that's Andy. Always making excuses.

I kind of feel bad for GM. She loved what she did. But this should help her understand that what she said is not acceptable by any standard.

Wow, me either. I know at one point Spencer said due to the long leave of absence he took, his position was filled and that he may not get the same one back, would all depend on senority, etc. but had a job.

I know that after the first issue with racist comments, they commented that he didn't represent them, their beliefs, etc. but was not fired.

I also know that it was his employer that called the police about the child porn comments, so I guess maybe that was when he got fired!

With GM, I believe it's what Candice said about Aaryn (not 100% about Aaryn...). She's more than likely not racist, she's ignorant and more than likely that's how they talk in her neighborhood and group of friends. Doesn't realize that people would take offense to her comments, because as rough around the edges she is, she is tender hearted and except for Candice and at times Amanda, was nice to everyone and everyone liked her!

I seen on Twitter that UP issued a statement that he wasn't fired but they will perform an investigation before he returns? Anybody else hear that?

Ya, I agree. I just hate it because I can't condone or agree with what was said. But I do think that there are good sides to these people. I know this has been repeated by so many people and I'll say it one more time. I just do not want to hear about these people anymore. I want them to go home, think about this experience, learn from it and move on with their lives differently. That's all I can hope for, I guess.

Just found this from UP about Spencer, he hasn't lost his job ... yet ...

Sept. 18, 2013
Prior to Spencer Clawson being allowed to return from his Leave of Absence to active duty with Union Pacific Railroad, a formal investigation will be held under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement to determine the facts involving Mr. Clawson's behavior on the Big Brother television show and online live feed. Based on the results of the investigation, Union Pacific will determine the appropriate action regarding Mr. Clawson's employment status.

Aug. 7, 2013
Due to the volume of feedback Union Pacific has received from the public about Spencer Clawson's August 5 comments on the CBS reality show Big Brother 15, the company wants to reiterate that it has taken all the action it can under the Collective Bargaining Agreement until Mr. Clawson is released from the show. Mr. Clawson took an unpaid leave of absence to participate on Big Brother 15. Union Pacific has notified law enforcement of Mr. Clawson's August 5 comments.

July 6, 2013
The values represented by Spencer Clawson's comments during the Big Brother show do not at all align with Union Pacific's values. Mr. Clawson is on unpaid leave of absence while participating on Big Brother. Union Pacific does not condone his comments. Union Pacific is acting in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement terms regarding Mr. Clawson

THIS irritates me to no end. You all know how I feel about Spencer and his nastiness, but seriously, the public needs to step off. Big Brother fans can be some serious nut cases.

I really think that for some of the HGs, the nastiness came from others. Like if GM hadn't spent all her time with Aaryn, and hadn't felt a need to protect her, I don't think she would have gone where she did. Had she not hung with such negative people there at the end, she probably wouldn't have sat bashing. Egged on by others... It's probably very hard to escape in that environment.

It's what makes the social experiment part of the show so interesting. That said, BB needs to take a good look at their casting department and make some changes. They should anyway... I think they need some new eyes on it regardless as it's getting stale.
